Thousands of our Oceanside neighbors are living with the chronic stress of housing instability. They aren’t sure if they’re rent will be unreasonably raised or if they’ll be forced to move out with minimal notice. While California offers some protections, there are many loopholes our city can fill. With more and more of our housing being bought up by Wall St. investors and speculators the housing system becomes less and less responsive to the local people.

We demand the city council pass Tenant Protection Ordinances to shield our people from exploitative renting conditions.
