Thousands of our Oceanside families are living with the chronic stress of housing instability. They aren’t sure if they’re rent will be unreasonably raised or if they’ll be forced to move out with minimal notice. While California offers some protections, there are many loopholes our city can fill. With more and more of our housing being bought up by Wall St. investors and speculators our local housing system becomes less and less responsive to local families.

4 out of every 10 people evicted are children. This Ordinance is for them.

We demand the city council pass Tenant Protection Ordinances to shield our children from exploitative rental conditions.

They will vote on September 3, 2025.
